Same problem as holographicdol, except on Mint 20.3. It asks for libcrypto.so.1.0.0 . It probably needs to resolve to the symlink for libcrypto.so.1 , allowing it to operate with current and future SSL implemetations.
When trying to launch this game on Ubuntu 22.04, I get an error message saying "error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.0.0: No such file or directory". I've tried working around this by placing the library in the same directory as the executable but no luck. Based on what I found by Googling, it appears to be part of an older SSL implementation that is no longer standard.
I have enjoyed playing this game and just today unlocked the first bonus level "E".
After unlocking the bonus level, I then quit the game.
I then came back to play the bonus level but when I try to start the level the game crashes with an error message that says "Unable to convert string "E" to a number".
I've been playing on macOS Monterey and it has been working great up until now though.
Thanks!
stuck on the bonus, I think I have a valid solution?
awesome game!!
More information about what system requirements are needed would be useful. I use MX-15 Debian Jessie 32 bit as operating system. Will this game work on this system with glibc 2.19? Is there a demo version for Linux?
Hi.
Yes, it works on MX-15 32 bit (with glibc 2.19), as you can see.
And no, there isn't a demo version... but if you run into any problems, just let me know.
Thanks.
I am not one of those who always demand proof. I would have believed you even without a picture. The next problem: I pay on the Internet exclusively by prepayment or Paysafcard. This is not possible here at itch.io. Can you do anything with a Paysafecard pin? Or can you offer Puzlogic at GOG? I would appreciate it if you could offer more games for download that work for me. In the web demo of Puzlogic, are these the first 12 levels of the game? In my opinion the difficulty increases too fast. That means there should be more easier levels.
Hi. Right now I can't offer the game on GOG, but we can work something out.
Please let know your email and I'll contact you or send me one to contact [at] ebcaravela.com
The demo is a bit different from de main game. Some levels are the same and some are variations. Also, the difficulty on the main game won't increase as fast.
Thanks.
Thank you!
My system has Debian GLIBC 2.19-18+deb8u10
At the moment the game ends after level 20 for me. I don't see a next button. I only played 19 levels in the first attempt. After a restart, the problem occurs when I have completed level 20. I don't know if the problem can be solved by replaying levels 15 to 19. *?
Hi. Thanks for the feedback.
Apparently levels 15 to 19 aren’t solved (don’t know if this is a bug or not). To continue it’s required to solve almost all levels (there’s a tolerance of 2/3 levels but not more than that). If you have already solved those levels, please try to solve them again to see if the problem is solved. If not, let me know.
Best regards,
Eduardo
I love it! I highly recommend this game to any sudoku fan - it's like an upgraded version of sudoku! And I love how new mechanics are spread throughout the game, so it doesn't get stale.
Was unable to start this game on linux. "error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.0.0" even though that library does exist on my system
Hi.
Sorry about that. Please send your OS info (linux distro and version you're using) to contact [at] ebcaravela.com so I can try to reproduce the issue.
Thanks.
Best,
Eduardo
Turns out the solution was to install "lib32-openssl-1.0". Found the solution online. I'm using Archlinux.
I'm about halfway through and am LOVING it! I love how many mechanics are thrown in. If there was a mobile version of this game with new puzzles i would definitely buy it.
Are these the same puzzles as in the version of the game released in Flash, or are some of them different?
(If anyone else is wondering, there ARE more levels in this version, and they're really hard. It's great!)
Unique sudoku inspired puzzle game that starts out relatively simple (No number may be located twice in each row) and then adds more elements to it that you need to keep track of and combine to get to the right solution. After a few levels of subtly increasing difficulty, that becomes surprisingly challenging and offers a good bit of number crunching logic fun. The controls are a bit cumbersome, as they require a lot of dragging even for setting reminders and the user interface might work in general better on the mobile version, but even with a mouse, its an incredibly rewarding number puzzle game. If you enjoy that genre, you will very likely enjoy this game too. 4/5

This is a great puzzle game! I found it when I purchased the Racial Justice and Equality bundle. The puzzles are both challenging and really fun!
Thank you for this lovely game, I really enjoyed it a lot. Well recommended if you like math puzzles!
Chrome seems to think the Mac download is unsafe. =( Any idea why? I just clicked Keep anyway.
Occasionally I'll get a white screen when opening the game, usually if I have multiple monitors connected. I can alt-tab to the game, but can't interact with anything. Is there a fix for this? This is on Windows 10
Hi.
This may be a bug related to resolution detection when having multiples monitors connected.
I'll check this, but in the meanwhile you can try to force windowed mode. Go to the folder "C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Local\PuzLogic" (replace C with your drive's letter and YOUR_USER with the user name) and in settings.ini change FULL_SCREEN="1.000000" to FULL_SCREEN="0.000000".
I hope it works and I'll let you know when I have a fix for this.
Best,
Eduardo
This game is kicking my brain's ass and I love it! Definitely the best sudokulike I've played so far. Do you have any recommendations for more like this?
Also, I really wish I could draw and write notes on the screen, that would be immensely helpful. I'm at level 44 and taking notes on screenshots is the only way I can wrap my head around the puzzles now.
I'm really enjoying this game! Thanks for adding it to the bundle!
Level 20 is unsolvable as is -- at the intersection of the sums 11 and 18, the only two options are 9/2 and 8/3 -- there is only one 9 so that doesn't fit without duplicating numbers in the top row, and if 8/3 is used, there is not a third 3 in the bank to make the 6 sum work at the right.
i was stuck on this one too - remember there's a 1 way off to the right
oooooooooh interesting. Will go back, thanks!
The Mac download doesn't appear to run at all :o(
Hi.
Sorry about that.
I found the issue and I will be fixing it in the following days.
Thanks for the heads up.
Edit: Fixed! Let me know if you have any other issue :)
